Expo inspires big adventures

Expo inspires big adventures

The organisers of the Moreton Bay Caravan Camping, Boating and 4×4 Expo say that this year’s Expo will be the biggest yet with a massive range of outdoor adventure, boating and fishing gear on display at the Redcliffe Showgrounds from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th February 2017.

The event will showcase a diverse range of products and services, all aimed at getting you outdoors, on the water and off the beaten track in style.

An initiative of the Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) will see a major display at the event by ‘Visit Moreton Bay Region’ to promote and have on hand copies of the recently released Ultimate Guide for all things to see and do across the region. Research shows that residents have only visited parts of the region and many are not aware of the large selection of leisure destinations at their fingertips and in their back yard. The stand will have skilled operators on hand to talk about what’s on locally, hot deals and where to eat, drink, stay and play in the Moreton Bay Region.

The event will showcase the very latest camper trailers, caravans, motor homes, 4x4s, boats, jet skis and tinnies with superseded and 2016 models priced to sell quickly.  Strong demand is also expected on the new range of products for 2017 and if that is not enough to excite you, there is over $25,000-00 in prizes to be won. Up for grabs will be a brand new boat from Cunninghams Marine worth $ 11,800-00, a 4×4 Tagalong Tour to Cape York, fishing gear and a fold up boat and motor.

There is a huge line up of entertainment including Cooking Demonstrations with the very popular ‘Two Old Ducks’, free kids for rides, a 4×4 skills track and the fishing show on the giant Shimano fishing tank.

The Moreton Bay Caravan Camping, Boating and 4×4 Expo opens at the Redcliffe Showgrounds from 9am to 5pm Friday 17th and Saturday 18th and again Sunday 19th from 9am to 4pm. Go to the web site bayexpo.com.au for all the details and information on how you can win the massive parcel on prizes on offer

One of Queensland’s largest farming and agricultural events has announced a shift back to its farming field day roots. The 2017 Farm Fantastic Expo to be held at the Caboolture Showgrounds will bring the focus of this major event back to its rural beginnings, with an emphasis on farming, agriculture, livestock, produce and horticulture. The announcement coincides with the launch of the 2017 event which has new dates and will take place from the 30th June to the 2nd July.

The long standing rural farming event has recently been acquired by one of Queensland’s largest event management companies, Australian Events. Director Bob Carroll has confirmed the company has a long term commitment to the event and aims to see the event grow into one of the country’s best dedicated rural and farming events.

With the takeover of the event, a dedicated team of event managers have been working hard preparing site plans, brochures and websites for its 2017 launch, which took place in late November. Already the event has received strong bookings from 2016 exhibitors within days of the launch, including Thunderbird Ag, Harrison F-Truck, Shedfast, Sota Tractors, Polyworld, Cooloola Custom Stockfeed and ARB Caboolture, to name just a few.

Australian Events have an email newsletter club on the event website to keep both patrons and businesses up-to-date with event proceedings. All those interested in the event are encouraged to visit www.farmfantastic.com.au and register to receive updates and information.

Survey critical for the future of Sunshine Coast events

Survey critical for the future of Sunshine Coast events

A major survey will be conducted from the 21st to 23rd October to gain a better understanding of what the community want in the way of event venues and also to put some measure on the economic impact gained from one of the longest running events on the Sunshine Coast.

In 1991, Bob Carroll and his company, Australian Events, established the inaugural Sunshine Coast Home Show and staged it under giant circus tents on ovals 1 and 2 at the Kawana Sports Club Grounds. There have been a number of name changes to the venue since then but for 25 years it has played host to this major community event. The event remains today as a key marketing and promotional strategy for hundreds of businesses with equally as many products on show for those interested in building and renovating.

Airlie Comes Alive!

Airlie Comes Alive!

As the spring weather warms up and the gentle sea breezes lap the Whitsunday coast, Airlie Beach comes alive with the sounds of music. The Airlie Beach Festival of Music is back and bigger than ever with headline acts such as Tim Finn (Crowded House), Troy Cassar Daley and Daryl Braithwaite to name a few, this is a weekend of music not to be missed.

With 74 bands playing over three days in a host of venues across Airlie Beach, the main stage plays home to some well-loved Aussie acts every afternoon from 3pm. Whatever your musical tastes there is something for everyone – rock, pop, folk, country, funk, dance or a mixture of them all! Set in the beautiful tropical surroundings of Airlie Beach, the music festival is fast becoming an iconic event on the social calendar.

Joscelyn O’Keefe, Marketing manager at Abell Point Marina explains “November is such a beautiful time to visit the Whitsundays, the weather is warm but not yet humid, the school holiday crowds have disappeared from the islands and anchorages and the town goes back to the laid back, relaxed vibe of the low season before visitation ramps up again for Christmas. With this in mind the timing of the Airlie Beach Festival of Music is perfect to encourage those not constrained by school holidays to visit the region and get involved in a range of events on the Whitsunday social calendar. If you are not able to make the first week of the month for the music festival there is plenty to keep you in region for the remainder of November and into the festive season. We would encourage everyone who has a passion for music and boating to take advantage of this great berthing package we are offering during November and explore everything the region has to offer.”

Abell Point Marina village will play host some incredible bands during the weekend at marina village venues of Barcelona Tapas Bar and Sorrento Restaurant and Bar. We have put together a tempting package to encourage music lovers to berth at the marina and enjoy a week of Whitsunday weather and awesome musically entertainment.

How can a Stainless Steel cleaner be so exciting?

One of the key products that Stainless Stainless is importing for the local market here in Australia and New Zealand is Innosoft B570. Developed in Europe, this product is changing the way we approach the cleaning and maintenance of Stainless Steel. It has proven itself to be a user and environmentally friendly solution to one of the major problems faced by owners of Stainless Steel products – flash rust and tea staining.

So what makes Innosoft B570 unique?
•Firstly, it is a smooth white viscous liquid consisting of organic acids and surface-active agents that is free from abrasive particles.
•Also, as it is not a pickling agent, Innosoft B570 is non-aggressive for metals. However, it proves to be very effective in removing oxides and dirt.
•Importantly this product is organic, so it is not harmful to people or the environment. As a result, Innosoft B570 is also highly suitable for cleaning machines and pipelines in the food industry.
•Innosoft B570 also works on other metals like copper and aluminium. Common white corrosion spots on aluminium can be effectively removed by using this product.
•And it really works! To give you a better impression of how exciting a product Innosoft B570 is, please click on the link provided to see firsthand some of our test results:  www.stainlessstainless.com.au/commercial-industrial-photo-g…
